WWE introducing new titles for the women’s division

WWE’s new regime has provided new and exciting opportunities to the women’s division across all brands. According to a new report, there’s an update on the potential introduction of new women’s secondary titles on the main roster.

Earlier this month, it was reported that WWE had plans to introduce two new titles for the women’s division. However, no specific date was revealed and Fightful eventually cleared the air on those rumors post Money in the Bank in Toronto.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON), he was told that new belts are under discussion in the women’s division. However, it’s not a done deal as the management is still deciding on it and it could happen in the future. Earlier this year, new titles were introduced including a NXT Women’s North American Championship for the developmental brand. It’ll be interesting to see if the management decides to add new titles to the women’s division on the main roster.
