Max Homa is gearing up for the PGA Tour’s first event of 2025, The Sentry, under some unexpected circumstances. The golfer announced that his regular looper Joe Greiner will be unavailable for the season opener.
Joe Greiner has been a cornerstone of Homa’s success on the PGA Tour since he officially became the 2024 Masters top-five finisher’s official looper. The press release did not state an official reason for his absence.
According to the PGA Tour’s Sean Martin, the change is only temporary. Greiner will return to the six-time Tour winner’s bag as soon as he can. Spieth has been out of competitive golf for a few months following his wrist surgery in August.
