Anthony Ha-Jin Kim (born June 19, 1985) is an American professional golfer with three PGA Tour wins, who played in one Ryder Cup competition, and one Presidents Cup competition. He has not played in a PGA Tour event since an injury in 2012. He is believed to have had an insurance policy that would pay him $10-20 million in the case of a career-ending injury.[3] In 2024, he returned to professional golf, playing in the LIV Golf League. Anthony Kim recently took another jibe at trans athletes while criticizing the media for downplaying LIV Golf. He said that the media would be okay with trans athletes competing in women’s sports but would ignore LIV Golf.
Kim is a three-time winner on the PGA Tour who now plays on LIV Golf. He joined the Saudi-backed circuit at the start of this year, marking his return to professional golf after a decade.
On Monday, September 23, Anthony Kim congratulated Ripper GC for winning the Team Championship. However, in his post, he took a shot at the golf media.
“Congrats to the Ripper GC,” he wrote. “Media like Golf Channel that say LIV isn’t thriving & trending upwards are probably okay with man playing women’s sports🤷♂️. Thankful to H.E. and MAJED for their support in my journey back at LIV Golf League. 1% better 2day!”
